Pakse Hotel has been totally renovated before its reopening in 2003, to reach International Standards.
The hotel is located in the historical centre of Pakse, surrounded by French colonial buildings. Ideally placed, it is within walking distance from the Mekong River, local market, shops, banks, VIP bus station and all services.
Pakse Hotel is an important part of the local patrimony : the building has been constructed in the early 60's under the supervision of the last King of Champassak, Chao Boun Oum. Originally, it was in the same time a hotel, a theatre and a casino.
The former theatre is now a convention hall and restaurant. The upper deck of the casino has become a wonderful open-air panoramic restaurant, which is the best place in town to enjoy a romantic dinner overlooking the Mekong.
